In this Fairchild product line digest, you'll find one of the widest varieties of control devices available for industrial applications. Our developing technology in four main product groups has been the basis for our growth and leadership in producing precision pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and general service use controls.
Engineers know they can depend on Fairchild products when they need fast, precise, and reliable performance in the control of pressure. They also can depend on Fairchild's world-wide distributor network and the dedicated technical service that backs up every product.
You can meet your specific needs by selecting from the more than 75 models in Fairchild's Regulator, Volume Booster, Relay and Transducer product groups -- and you can be assured of maximum performance every time.

PRESSURE REGULATORS
Here, a wide selection of pressure
ranges and flow capacities let you specify the model that meets
the needs of your exact instrument or general industrial control
application. Model range in size form miniature to large -- up to
1-1/2" pipe size. Special attention to engineering and
manufacturing excellence has been applied to the regulators so
they'll provide the sensitivity, accuracy, low output droop,
drift-free settings, and immunity to pressure variations you
require. Even supply pressures up to 500 psig with flow ranges
form 2.5 to 3,000 scfm can be provided. High pressure regulators
and models for use in corrosive atmospheres are also available.
The Model 2400 M/P Converter combines one of three regulator models with a continuous or stepper motor in a commercial, NEMA 4, or explosion-proof housing for use where precise control of pneumatic pressure must be achieved with low power consumption and with a lock-in-last-place feature.

VOLUME BOOSTERS
The high capacity, fast response
and stability you need are important characteristics of Fairchild
volume boosters. A wide range of signal to output pressure
ratios, pipe sizes from 1/4" to 1-1/2" NPT, and flow
capacities from 40 to 3,000 scfm provide a versatile selection to
meet your specific needs. All units are designed with a balanced
supply valve, which makes them immune to supply pressure
variations. Other features include the ability to add gauges to
all models and the option to add a tapped exhaust to most models.
These products have been designed and engineered to meet every
requirement for pneumatic booster applications.

TRANSDUCERS
The extensive combinations of
inputs and outputs available in the Fairchild transducer line
make them ideal for an unlimited number of applications. I/P
inputs include analog current or voltage, and 8-bit parallel
digital (TTL or CMOS compatible). Standard output pressure range
is 3-15 psig, but some models provide ranges from 0-150 psig.
Boosted versions are available to meet high capacity flow needs
of up to 40 scfm. P/I inputs include 5 ranges from 0-120 psig,
with 4-20 or 10-50mA outputs. These precision transducers are
accurate, compact, lightweight and have fast response. Most
models are FM, CSA, BASEEFA/CENELEC approved for outdoor,
explosion proof and intrinsically save applications, and many are
suitable for valve mounting.
For increased versatility, T6000 I/P & E/P and T8000 P/I transducer models are available for rack or manifold mounting. The rack mount will permit installation of up to 10 units in a standard 19" rack. Manifolds are available to hold 3, 5, 10 or 15 transducer modules.

RELAYS
Fairchild's extensive line of relays serve a multitude of control
applications. There are relays for positive biasing, positive and
negative biasing; infinitely adjustable ratio, reversing,
averaging and computing relays; high and low pressure selectors;
and high and low pressure limiting relays. Some models provide an
output modulated by one or more input signals, while others
provide an output as a function of signal pressure plus or minus
a set bias. The reversing relay's output pressure decreases in
proportion to an increase in signal pressure.
